A Father's Day present he won't put in a drawer.

Everyone adds a few photos and a line from their phone. He gets a real book: the year, the kids, the grandkids, the fish that got bigger with each telling.

Start a bookHow it works

Father's Day is not one date

The US, the UK, Canada and Ireland keep the third Sunday of June. New Zealand and Australia keep the first Sunday of September. Germany uses Ascension Day; Italy, Spain and Portugal use 19 March. Each of our country pages shows the next date there and when to order by.

Ideas that suit dads

  • A then-and-now pair: him holding you, you holding yours.
  • The projects. The deck, the bike, the allotment, the half-restored car.
  • Every grandchild doing the thing he taught them.
  • One page that just says thank you, from each of you, in your own words.

Keep it short

A Father's Day book doesn't need two hundred photos. Thirty good ones, each with a line underneath, makes a book he will actually read from cover to cover.

Questions

Good to know.

How late can I leave it?

Printing and delivery usually take about a week in the countries where we print locally. Add a few days for the family to add photos.

Can his own brothers and sisters add photos?

Anyone with the link can. Old photos from his siblings are often the best pages in the book.

Does he need a smartphone?

No. That's the point of it.

Make one for someone this week.
