The family's year, under the tree.
Every December someone asks what to get Nana and Grandad. This is the answer that gets a little better every year: the last twelve months, from everyone, in one book.
Order early in December
December is the busiest month for printers and couriers everywhere. A book that takes a week in October can take longer in the week before Christmas.
Start it in mid November, set the family a due date at the end of the month, and order in the first week of December. Each country page shows a suggested order-by date for Christmas.
A year, in order
The easy way to fill it: ask each family for a photo or two from each season. Summer holidays, first day of school, birthdays, the new puppy, the wedding, the snow. You can put people and photos in the order you like before it prints.
Make it a tradition
One book is a present. Five of them in a row on a shelf is the family's history. Use the same cover theme each year, or let it change with the year's mood.
Questions
Good to know.
Can it be delivered straight to them?
Yes. It's posted to whatever address you give, theirs or yours.
What if photos from Christmas itself should be in it?
Then make it a New Year book. Add the Christmas photos on Boxing Day and order that week.
Can we order two copies, one for each set of grandparents?
Each book is ordered and delivered separately. Start a second book for the other grandparents and send its link to the same people.
