- 70th birthday
Seventy years, and everyone has a photo.
School friends, workmates, children, grandchildren. Send one link and each of them adds a photo and a line. It prints as one book, in time for the party.
Friends as well as family
At seventy, the people with the best photos often aren't relatives. The link works for anyone you send it to. They add their name, a photo or two and a message, and they're done.
Ask early for the old ones. Someone has to find the album, take a photo of the print, and send it.
A simple structure
- Open with a note from the person who knows them best.
- Then go by decade, or by person, whichever you have more photos for.
- Close with a recent photo of everyone together, if there is one.
For the party
Have it delivered to you, not to them, and leave it out on a table. People read each other's pages, which gets them talking.
Questions
Good to know.
How many people can add to one book?
As many as you like. The book can run to 200 pages.
Can people add just a message without a photo?
Yes. A note on its own gets a page to itself.
How long before the party should I start?
Three weeks is comfortable: two for people to add photos, one for printing and delivery.
