Retirement

Better than a card passed round the office.

Send one link to the team. Each person adds a photo and a few words from their phone. It prints as a proper book with everyone in it, ready for the leaving do.

Start a book How it works

How it works for a workplace

Nobody needs an account. People open the link, type their name, add a photo and write a message. Ex-colleagues can be sent the same link. You see every page before it prints and can leave anything out.

What to ask people for

A photo with the person, or of something that only makes sense to the team.
One story. The more specific the better.
What they'll miss.
A piece of advice for retirement, serious or not.

From the family as well

If the family wants in, send them the link too. A retirement book with a page from each grandchild at the back says what the next chapter is for.

Questions

Good to know.

Can people add a message without a photo?

Yes. A message on its own gets its own page.

How do I chase the people who haven't added anything?

Add their emails and a due date. Reminders go out on their own and stop when each person has added something.

How quickly can it be ready?

The printing and delivery part is usually about a week where we print locally. How long your colleagues take is up to them.
