In memory

Everyone has a photo of them you've never seen.

After someone dies, the photos are scattered across the family's phones and albums. One link lets everyone add theirs, with a memory, and gives you a book to keep.

Start a book How it works

A way to collect, when nobody has the energy

People want to help and don't know how. Asking for one photo and one memory is something they can do. Send the link with the funeral details, or afterwards. Each person adds from their own phone, in their own time.

For the service, or for later

If there's time before the service, the book can sit beside the guest book. Often there isn't, and that's fine. Many families make it for the first anniversary instead, when people have had time to find the old photos and the right words.

For the person left behind

A book like this is often made for a widow or widower. Large type, one photo to a page, and names in the captions make it something they can read alone or with visitors.

Ask each person for one memory, not a eulogy.
Include the everyday photos as well as the formal ones.
You see every page before it prints, and can leave anything out.

Questions

Good to know.

Can we make more than one copy?

Each book is ordered and delivered separately. Start another for each household that wants one and send its link to the same people.

Is there a deadline?

Only one you set. The link stays open until you order.

Can people who aren't family add to it?

Yes. Anyone you send the link to can add a photo and a few words.

Make one for someone this week.
