They're a long flight away. The book isn't.

When grandparents live far away, they miss the ordinary weeks: school runs, Sunday lunch, the dog. The whole family adds photos from their phones, and the book turns up at their door.

Start a bookHow it works

How it works across borders

You make the book from wherever you are. Family in three countries can add to it from the same link. When you order, it's printed by a printer close to the delivery address and posted from there.

We print in 15 countries and deliver to 40. The delivery page lists them all with current prices and times.

What they miss

Not the big events. Those get photographed and sent. They miss the ordinary weeks: the walk to school, the lost tooth, the terrible haircut. Ask everyone for those.

  • One photo from each month since you last saw them.
  • The children's drawings, photographed.
  • The house and the street, so they can picture where you are.
  • A note saying when you'll next visit.

Write in their language

Captions and notes print exactly as you type them, in any language that uses Latin letters, accents included. Names of people and places make it easier to follow for a grandparent whose English is their second language.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I pay international postage?

Not when the book is printed in the country it's going to. Where it crosses a border, the price you see already includes delivery.

What currency do I pay in?

The currency of the country it's delivered to. Your card converts it.

Will they have to pay customs?

Not where we print in the same country or inside the EU. For a few countries the book crosses a customs border, and we say so before you order.
